How it plays
Two modes. A Top Trumps-style quick play — essentially done — and a deeper tactical game, captured as the design source of truth.
The tactical game, in a breath
Each round, both players draw and lay one card face-down as a location — any card qualifies, so nobody starves for resources. Locations fund the legends you play; win by reaching 10 Legend on the field, or holding the most after round 10.

Design principle
Low-cost cards are stat sticks with simple passives; the higher the Legend, the richer the ability. Everything is thematic — the Loch Ness Monster can't be duelled, because nobody's ever found it.

Movement between locations, Prepare/Exert (Merlin, Baobhan Sith), the Convergence keyword (Morgan le Fay), the exact duel threshold (≥ vs >) and hunt-retaliation specifics all need locking before the playtest rules are final. Flagged, not fixed.

Card printing takes its cost from a supplier you add on Supplier Quotes. Everything here is editable — this is a working model, not a fixed quote.

Every print supplier you're quoting, with their price per pack and minimum order. The Cost engine takes one of these to work out what a run costs.

Projections
Business costs that sit outside the per-pack model: one-off setup and recurring bills, each with the date it lands and how often it repeats. These drive the month-by-month projections.

Type expected packs sold each month. Revenue = units × net per pack from the Cost engine.
Projection
Revenue against costs each month, with profit over the top. Business-cost installments land in the month they fall due.
Annual roll-up
The same months as above, grouped into years. Calendar years break in January; rolling years break on the month the projection starts.
